The Gurkha Afghan Kukri Knife is a traditional curved Nepalese blade, known for its distinctive 2-fuller design and powerful cutting edge. With an 11-inch hand-forged carbon steel blade and a full tang rosewood handle, this kukri combines historical authenticity with rugged functionality.

Handcrafted by the Bishwakarma (Kami) blacksmiths of Nepal, each kukri is forged using 5160 high-carbon spring steel, water-tempered for strength, and semi-polished for easy maintenance. The 2 fullers carved into the blade reduce weight while enhancing balance and aesthetic appeal, making this kukri both beautiful and practical.

At 16.5 inches overall length and weighing approximately 2–2.2 lbs with sheath, this Afghan kukri is well-suited for chopping, farming, survival, and outdoor use. Its strong spine (10mm thick) allows it to withstand heavy impacts, while the rosewood full tang handle ensures comfort and durability.

The sheath is crafted from natural off-white water buffalo leather over a wooden core, hand-stitched in Nepal. The set also includes two traditional utility knives:

• Karda — a small sharp knife for fine cutting.

• Chakmak — a blunt knife for sharpening the blade.

Historically, the Afghan Kukri design was carried by Gurkha soldiers and became an essential survival and combat tool. Beyond its military heritage, it continues to serve as a daily utility knife in Nepalese households and farms.
