Gurkha Service 1 Kukri With Wooden Stand: Among all the Kukris; Service 1 is the most famous as it is currently issued Gurkha Kukri Knives. The Gurkhas & Nepal Army carries it throughout their military career. They keep it as their valuable procession all of their life. This is Standard Issue Kukri as they have few other military kukris issued in special occasion or during training. 10.25” blade is made of Highly Graded Carbon (5160 Steel, Car spring) with balanced water temper on the edge therefore it’s very strong & sharp edge. 5.1/4” handle is made of Water Buffalo horn (highly polished). It is about 3/8” thick (at the spine). Overall length is about 15.1/2”. The Sheath is made out of cotton; covered in buffalo hide, has double frogs loops for the belt.
