The Gurkha Service No.1 Kukri Knife (also known as the Sarkari Kukri) is the official issue kukri of the Gurkha Army, used for generations by the legendary British Gurkhas and Nepalese soldiers. This authentic blade is now presented in a special new design with a white bone handle, making it a standout piece for collectors and enthusiasts.

Hand-forged by the Bishwakarma blacksmith caste in Nepal, each kukri is made with 5160 high-carbon steel sourced from truck/car springs, ensuring unmatched durability and sharpness. The blade is 10-10.5 inches long with a full tang construction, semi-polished finish, and a 10mm spine, designed for heavy-duty use.

The white bone handle, measuring approx. 5–5.5 inches, is securely fastened with three rivets and paired with an off-white buffalo leather sheath reinforced with a wooden core. The set includes two traditional utility knives:

  • Karda – small sharp knife for fine cutting.

  • Chakmak – blunt knife used for sharpening or flint striking.
